Katherine owner of Manorbier Accommodation
Roo and Mr Darcy Cockerpoo my pet dogs

I commissioned  The Sea Breeze Beach House in 2013, having seen a similar building the architect had designed in North Pembrokeshire. I decided that this oak and sedum roofed sustainable eco-house would enhance the small walled garden of the main house of Awelon, replacing a broken down greenhouse and a block shed.

In 1996, I moved from London where I had been working as a senior nurse to live in North Pembrokeshire. In 2002, I moved to Awelon in Manorbier and totally renovated the main house.  The garden is designed by Andy Sturgeon, who has won multiple Gold medals and Best Show Garden at RHS Chelsea Flower Show.

From 2011 to 2019 I ran Awelon as a bed and breakfast. I live permanently in the main house with my two cockerpoo spaniels.

Having, lived in North and South Pembrokeshire,  I can advise guests if they wish to have ideas as to where to eat, walk, or places to explore for a day out.
